ABOUT ME

Introduction: Ali Al Ameri is a Bedouin horseman from the United Arab Emirates, revered in the equestrian world for his expertise in horse communication and behavior. Through compassionate training, behavioral fixing, and horse mastery, Al Ameri empowers both horses and their handlers to thrive in mutual partnership. Early Life and Background: Born into the challenging life of a Bedouin in Al Ain, Ali Al Ameri grew up in the desert around camels and goats, which were essential for transport, milk, and food. Raised by his uncles, he learned to handle these animals from a young age, navigating the harsh desert environment. The exact date of his birth is unknown, speculated to be between 1964 and 1967. Bedouin Life and Early Challenges: Life in the desert was difficult, with scarce food and water. Horses were rare, reserved for the wealthy, while camels were more common and vital for survival. Ali’s early years involved long journeys with camels, learning to find food and water, and understanding animal behavior. These experiences shaped his deep connection with animals. Transition to Urban Life: In 1974, Ali’s family moved to Abu Dhabi to escape drought and tribal conflicts. The transition to urban life was challenging for Ali, who struggled with the confinement of school and yearned for the freedom of the desert. He often escaped to nearby stables, where he developed a passion for horses.

Horsemanship and Early Involvement: Ali's love for horses grew as he frequently visited stables near his school. Despite being sent away repeatedly, he continued to return; eventually building a lasting relationship with horses. His early experiences with camels translated into a deep understanding of horse behavior, leading him to excel in show jumping and later working with the Abu Dhabi Royal Guard stables and the President’s stables.
